On one side of the fence, a line of humanitarian aid trucks waits with supplies intended for civilians in need. On the other, children reach through the barrier, unable to understand why food, water and other necessities are so close, yet remain beyond their reach. The work reflects on the devastating human consequences when access to basic necessities becomes a means of control, and hunger becomes part of the experience of war.
All my images are digital collage. Each image begins as a gathering — fragments of found imagery, textures, painted and drawn elements, and at times AI-assisted material. These are raw components. I dismantle, rework, paint into and rebuild, then layer digitally until they resolve into something entirely new. The final image is not generated. It is composed.
They are printed on German Etching Archival Hahnemühle 320gsm paper, with archival pigments. Each print is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
