“Trying to understand what is happening in Gaza and the wider Israeli-Palestinian conflict has taught me how difficult it is to find what might be called the full and impartial story. Information is fragmented, politically contested and often presented from very different perspectives.
What follows is therefore not intended as a definitive history, but as my personal response to what I have seen, read and understood. I believe the policies pursued by successive Israeli governments, particularly under the current leadership, have taken the conflict far beyond self-defence. Alongside the continuing displacement of Palestinians, Israel has expanded its control over territory despite repeated United Nations resolutions calling for an end to settlement activity. Yet there appears to have been remarkably little effective consequence for this continued expansion.
For decades, successive American administrations have provided Israel with enormous military, political and financial support. Israel now possesses one of the most powerful and technologically advanced militaries in the region, with US weapons and military assistance forming an important part of that capability. SIPRI estimates Israeli military expenditure at US$48.3 billion in 2025, around 40% of GDP - an extraordinary level of military commitment for a country of its size. For me, this raises a difficult question: when does the pursuit of security become a justification for continued military power, territorial expansion and the displacement of another people? I believe the Palestinians have borne the overwhelming human cost of this struggle — through loss of land, homes, freedom, security and lives.
This Is why I made this work.
These images are not a condemnation of Jewish people or Judaism, they are a protest against policies and actions that I believe have produced profound human suffering and an enduring inequality of rights, and leaves me wondering why is the Western World is allowing this to happen. I have spent alot of time gathering my information, and more than 6 months producing these 10 images, I have tried to understand this situation, and I know the information is contested, all information seems contested, or "misunderstood" in this war, but I have reached a personal conclusion......this artwork is my response. However, that said, I am hopeful and ultimately, I believe Israelis and Palestinians can and deserve the same things: security, freedom, dignity and the right to live without fear, and a respect for each other's sovereignty.”

Print information
All images are digital collage. Each image begins as a gathering — fragments of found imagery, textures, painted and drawn elements, and at times AI-assisted material. These are raw components. I dismantle, rework, paint into and rebuild, then layer digitally until they resolve into something entirely new. The final image is not generated. It is composed.
They are printed on German Etching Archival Hahnemühle 320gsm paper, with archival pigments. Each print is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
