They sit together on the floor of a hospital corridor, surrounded by strangers, noise and the aftermath of violence. Somewhere beyond them, decisions are being made and lives are being counted, while this family waits for news that may change everything. The simplified drawing strips away the chaos to focus on what remains — fear, grief and the instinct to hold one another.
All my images are digital collage. Each image begins as a gathering — fragments of found imagery, textures, painted and drawn elements, and at times AI-assisted material. These are raw components. I dismantle, rework, paint into and rebuild, then layer digitally until they resolve into something entirely new. The final image is not generated. It is composed.
They are printed on German Etching Archival Hahnemühle 320gsm paper, with archival pigments. Each print is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
