In darkness, the convent unearthed the bodies from unmarked graves, not to honour them, but to destroy the evidence. The remains were burned, the truth turned to ash. What was once hidden beneath the soil is now hidden forever in smoke.
All of my images are digital collage. Each image begins as a gathering — fragments of found imagery, textures, painted and drawn elements, and at times AI-assisted material. These are raw components. I dismantle, rework, paint into and rebuild, then layer digitally until they resolve into something entirely new. The final image is not generated. It is composed.
They are printed on German Etching Archival Hahnemühle 320gsm paper, with archival pigments. Each print is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity.
